School

The Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene is an affiliate of the American Montessori Society. We are dedicated to the Montessori philosophies of hands-on, child-centered learning at all levels and to providing stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities that cultivate each child's natural desire to learn. Our curriculum communicates key concepts through experience to each child as they are ready.

As part of Northern Virginia's newest community, we at the Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene know that it is not enough to rely solely on our high academic standards. Helping our students to become productive members of our community is a top priority. MAB strives to foster the development of the whole child. Our desire is to develop in our students a sense of honesty and ethical behavior, responsibility for their own actions, and care for the world around them, as well as to encourage independence and self-esteem.

To achieve these goals we have developed a 15,000 sq. ft facility which includes a library, gymnasium, music and Spanish room and our newly added elementary wing The school is located on a 3 acre campus nestled in the unique community of Belmont Greene. The school and grounds have been specially designed based on our more than 20 years of experience in Montessori education and designing facilities. MAB has many innovations that will enhance the learning environment as well as your child's learning experience.

MAB invites you to join us in this special partnership for the education of your child. We are conveniently located on Belmont Ridge Road with easy access to Ashburn, Leesburg, as well as surrounding communities via The Greenway and Route 7. Belmont Greene is the first Traditional Neighborhood Development in Loudoun County designed for mixed generational neighborhoods. It incorporates small parks and village shops all connected by footpaths and sidewalks.
